| Anteater Recreation Camps (ARC) General Information |
| ARC Summer Camp programs are designed for
children from 8 – 14 years old. Participants will
be grouped according to age and ability.
Beginning level campers are welcome.
No experience required for participation in any of
the programs offered. Lunch not provided. |

Pre & Post Care
Warm Up (morning care) will be available in the morning from 7:30am-9:00am. Cool Down (evening care) will be available in afternoons from 4:00pm-5:30pm. $20 for the week whether you use Warm Up, Cool Down or both. Cost covers entire week whether you use one day or all five. |

| Description: |
The perfect choice for an adventurous child looking for some fun up in the air. Altitude Adventures maximizes FUN as we emphasize the basics of rock climbing on our 35' indoor Rock Wall. Techniques and skills learned will help improve balance, strength, and confidence. The Altitude Adventure Climbing camp is led by Doug Tully, UCI's Outdoor Adventures Coordinator, and his staff of experienced climbing instructors. |

Take a culinary journey with Chef Jessica VanRoo, UCI's Culinary Coordinator. Campers will learn to cook various types of meals in an environment that encourages discovery and creativity. Camp is designed to familiarize students with healthy foods while they experience what it feels like to create and taste delicious recipes that they prepare. |

Chef Jessica and her staff will provide an interactive learning experience that teaches campers the necessary skills to develop a lifelong love for cooking. Camp will take place in the state of the art Test Kitchen located at the Anteater Recreation Center. |

Join UCI Taekwondo instructor Tom Vo and his staff of high energy instructors as they lead campers in the dynamic art of Taekwondo. Campers will learn the basic forms, punches, and kicks necessary to build a solid foundation. Sessions will include fun confidence building activities and controlled sparring. Open to all levels. |

Enjoy this high energy camp that teaches the latest street dance moves choreographed to your favorite music. Street dance encompasses movement that features elements of Hip Hop and Breaking, as well as freestyle movement, giving participants the opportunity to develop thier own sense of style. |

Great for both boys and girls, "you will never get bored as you busta move". Camp will be led by the UC Irvine Street Dance instructor, Josh Espinoza, in a non-intimidating approach to rhythm and choreography. |

| Description: |
Learn the Olympic sport of fencing with Fencing Coach Cory Price. As an introductory camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of fencing, including footwork, blade work, rules, strategy, fencing tactics, and timing. The camp will enhance agility, balance, build strength, and increase hand eye coordination, all in an extremely safe and dynamic manner. |

We promise you will never have more fun with a sword! No experience is necessary. All equipment (mask, gloves, jacket and sword) is provided. |

Eligibility/Rates
*ARC Member: Dependents of current UCI Students and Anteater Recreation Center
Non- Student Members will receive the ARC member rate.
Non - ARC Member: This rate applies to dependents of individuals that are not Anteater
Recreation Center (ARC) Members including individuals who are not affiliated with the University.
Discount: $10 off registration for entire day campers ($5 off each camp).
