All classes are open to dependents of ARC members as well as non-members
(except for Summer Swim, which is open to children whose parents are part of the UCI Community).
Basketball Classes (ages 8-14)
A fun class where children will learn the fundamentals of basketball in an exciting, non-competitive environment with encouragement from our staff of experienced instructors. Classes will meet on the Outdoor Basketball Courts in the ARC Sports Field Complex.

Fencing Clinic (ages 12 - 16)
Let your child’s dream come true with our half day Youth Fencing clinic. All children will learn the sword handling skills of Zorro, the Musketeers, and pirates of the Caribbean. UCI Fencing coach Eric Holmgren will provide instruction on the basic skills including footwork, foil handling, parries, and attacks. The week will conclude with a “mini-tournament” where students will fence against each other. All equipment is provided. The clinic meets in the Activity Annex.

Lacrosse Clinic (ages 12 - 18)
Learn to play “North America’s oldest sport”. Lacrosse, with its roots dating back to Native Americans in the 1600’s, is one of the fastest growing team sports in the country. Our staff of expert coaches will teach participants the basic skills of stick handling, passing, footwork, and scoring. Open to boys entering 4th thru 10th grade, Lacrosse uses a combination of basketball, soccer, and hockey skills to develop coordination, agility, and quickness. The clinic fee includes instruction and box lunch daily. Participants must provide their own personal equipment: stick, helmet/mask, pads, and gloves. The clinic meets on the ARC Upper Field. Click here for more details!
