- Advanced to the National Scholastic Surfing Associations State Championships placing 14 th overall
- Lorissa Rinehart 2 nd in College Women’s Division and 5 th in the State Championships
- Martin Parker 9 th in College Bodyboard Division
Volleyball
- Joined the SCCVL/First year of competitive play
- Men’s club upset perennial power SDSU 3 games to 1
- SDSU was ranked #11 in the nation at the time and finished 3 rd.
