How to Join a Club Sport

Becoming a Club Sports Member
The Club Sports program is composed of non-varsity intercollegiate competitive sports that are registered student organizations with the Dean of Students Office and facilitated by Campus Recreation. Each sport is run by a set of student-officers and may have specific requirements. Prior to registering for any club online, you should speak to the Club President and attend one practice.

I've talked to the club president & I want to join a club sport - what do I do now?
Registration for the Club Sports program is $10 non-refundable fee. In order to register, please make sure you meet the following eligibility guidelines.
  • Current UCI Undergraduate and Graduate students are eligible to join a Club Sport.
  • UCI Faculty & Staff with an ARC membership are eligible for limited Club Sports membership.
  • The following are prohibited from joining Club Sports: Non-University affiliated members, Alumni, Extension students, and ESL students.
  • Pay to join either online (follow links below) or in person at Campus Recreation Services (Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm)
  • If you are interested in join more than one club, contact Campus Recreation Services, (949)824-3738.
