Irvine's lacrosse team is part of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association and the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League. UCI plays teams like CSU Fullerton, UNLV, and Occidental. In 2007, the Anteaters won their first WCLL Division B Title and qualified for the MCLA Championships, where they lost to Dayton in the first round.
