Tim Tift
Tim has been teaching for 48 years, and was the head coach for the UCI Men’s Basketball team from 1969 – 1980. He led the Anteaters to NCAA’s twice during his tenure and he was voted into UCI’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004. After retiring he became an administrator in Athletics and eventually took over as the Chair of Physical Education and in 1995 moved to the Department of Education where he now teaches new educators. Tim’s noontime Aqua Fitness classes are very popular with Faculty/Staff and students at the ARC. |
