  Holcomb Valley Pinnacles is a fantastic sport climbing crag. It is located at an elevation 7400 ft so it will be much cooler than any other climbing in southern California. It has many routes of varying difficulty making it an ideal location for the beginner as well as the experienced sport climber. Let's hit the rocks!

  This urban adventure has something for everyone! San Diego was wonderful hikes with spectacular views of the ocean. Torry Pines glider port is a fascinating place to watch paragliders and hang glidders take off and land. A photographers dream! Local art, artists and music are everywhere when we stop in La Jolla and the Artwalk San Diego. Finally, no trip to San Diego would be complete without a visit to Old Towne for food and the vibrant atmosphere. Transportation is included to bring a friend and join the fun!

    Orientation will be on 7/11.  
Description:   SCUBA classes are 7 weeks in length including the orientation, and provide students with an SSI certification. Classes include classroom, pool and ocean dives sessions. All participants will attend a Saturday orientation session for the course they plan to attend. There are 2 pool dives with lessons that require a full day commitment. In addition, ocean dives will take place on Saturdays and Sundays from approximately 7:30am-12:30pm.  Students will need to purchase their own personal equipment, but all other required equipment is included in the class fee.

The orientation will take place at Sea Stallions Dive Shop at 21098 Bake Parkway Suite # 108 in Lake Forest at 10am on the Saturday morning that your class is scheduled to start. You may attend the SCUBA orientation without signing up before hand in order to ask questions and understand how the schedule will run. If you have any questions about the class or orientation prior to the orientation or if you plan to attend before registration, please contact the Outdoor Adventure Coordinator, Doug Tully at 949-824-0388 or dtully@uci.edu so that the session is not inadvertently cancelled. Scuba registration is accepted at the ARC Sales Desk (open Monday - Friday 8am-6pm) in person or over the phone at 949-824-3738.
