SAILING CLASS SCHEDULE

All Sailing classes take place at the UCI Sailbase, located in Newport Beach (click for details). Class fees are listed for UCI Students and ARC Members and then all others. Online registration is only available for UCI students and ARC members, all others need to register by visiting or calling Campus Recreation Services (2nd Floor, ARC - (949)824-3738). Description: This is where you start! No experience necessary. Learn basic sailing using our 14' sailboats, the Capri's. Combine dockside lectures, demonstrations, and lots of on-the- water sailing.

Description: This class is a continuation of Capri 1 which includes lot of 'tiller time' and more advanced skills. This class is a good way to refresh your skills or prepare for your 'Capri Skipper' test. It also allows you to take advanced classes in the Keelboats includes a solid review of the basics. Prerequisite: Capri 1

Description: This class is for those who have taken Keelboat 1. This class continues to increase your skills and is the start of the preperation for Keelboat Raining. Pre- requisite Keelboat 1 or equilivant

Description: J22 rating preparation: This class is designed to prepare those who are working towards your rating. This class will focus on skills needed for the test. Pre-requiste: Capri rating and Keelboat 1 and 2
