PARKING: There is limited parking at the Sailbase. You may park if space is available, Please do not block cars or the driveway.
There is parking along PCH, especially south of the sailbase on the same side of the street.
There is also a public lot, north of the sailbase. Go north on PCH and turn right on Tustin Street (a light) and make the first right into the city parking lot.
The ASUCI shuttle also goes by the sailbase, just ask the driver to stop for you. Please do not park in the Boy Scout Sea Base of any other business - we want to be good neighbors and they may tow!
GETTING TO THE UCI BOATS: AS you get to the sailbase and face the water, the UCI Capri's will be on your left at the end of the ramp. On the first day of classes look for the sign that says; "UCI Sailing Classes Meet Here". Your instructor will meet you there.
FIRST DAY OF CLASS: look for the blue sign that says "UCI Sailing Classes Meet Here" - instructor will be there
Directions from UCI:
take Jamboree 2 miles to PCH
turn right at PCH
travel 1.5 miles on PCH
sailbase is on the left side, between the Balboa Bay Club and the Sea Scout (just past Taco Bell)
Directions from freeways:
take 55 south - turns into Newport Blvd
take exit for PCH and make a left (under bridge)
Sailbase will be on your right side look for sign.
