All UC Irvine faculty/staff/retirees with a UCINetId
 
Employees of Campus Recreation are not eligible to enter the drawing

How to enter

Simply register for Step Up to Beijing and begin logging your steps on the Step Up to Beijing website
 
Each person registered for Step Up to Beijing will receive one ticket for the Legends of China trip drawing
 
Each person registered and logged 250,000 steps by January 15, 2008 will receive one additional ticket for the drawing
 
Total steps counted will be from October 1, 2007 to January 15, 2008

Only those registered for Step Up to Beijing may enter the drawing
 
Maximum of two entries per person - one for registration, and a second for reaching 250,000 steps

Selection of Winner

The winner will be announced January 17, 2008 at the Anteater Recreation Center (during the Fuel Up UCI kickoff)
 
The winner will be chosen by a random drawing from all eligible entries
 
Winner does not need to be present at the drawing to win
 
Must be a Step Up to Beijing participant to win

The Prize

One all-inclusive 7-day trip to Beijing (Capital of China), Chengde (Famous Emperor's Summer Resort) 2 cities, Tentative Dates: June 20 - 26, 2008.
 
Each winner is solely responsible for all costs not included in the basic package
 
Once issued, tickets are non-changeable and have no cash value

Ticket must be redeemed by January 24, 2008 by calling Courtney Burkes at (949) 824-6497.
 
If you are unable to use the ticket you can transfer the ticket to another Step Up to Beijing participant prior to notifying Courtney Burkes on January 24, 2008.
 
You may not transfer the ticket to anyone not participating in the Step Up to Beijing program.
 
The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries for the drawing received
