What is Team Up!? The highlight of Team Up! is the Odyssey Course, a high ropes course which stands 50 feet tall and stretches 360 feet long. This structure, designed by Alpine Towers International, Inc. is a state-of-the-art high ropes challenge course that provides teams and groups of all kinds the opportunity to participate in teambuilding experiences led by trained facilitators. Customizable Team Up! programs are available to groups and teams within UCI and neighboring communities, and may include warm-ups and icebreakers, initiatives, low ropes challenge activities, and Odyssey Course challenges.

By confronting a challenge and utilizing the different strengths offered by the team members, the team gains a worthwhile and valuable experience. Through confronting and solving a series of challenges it is believed that an individual can gain an increased sense of personal competence that results in increased positive self-esteem and an enhanced ability to work in a group. These activities arouse emotional, mental, and physical reactions that are present in all challenging life situations. Team Up offers the opportunity to take a closer look at how we interact and offers a safe place to try out new ways of being in order to share an experience that can be the beginning of new understandings, improved relationships, and enhanced team performance.
