CPR/AED & First Aid
Standard First Aid (includes 1st Aid, Adult CPR & AED) is offered in a 5 ½ hour, 1 day session. The classes are designed for participants who wish to acquire an American Red Cross Workplace Training: Adult CPR and Basic First Aid certification. Students must be on time. Classes are taught by Trac Lam and his staff of American Red Cross certified instructors. Location: ARC Team Room
Red Cross Lifeguard Class
This course is designed for those wishing to obtain a Red Cross Lifeguard certification. Participants must attend both sessions Sat May 27 & Sun May 28th 10am-6pm. Participate in all required skills & activities. Correctly answer 80 percent of the Lifeguard test. Participant must be 15 years of age on or before final scheduled session. Prerequisites: 300 yard swim test (100 yard front crawl, 100 yard breaststroke & 100 yard any combination). Swim 20 yard out, retrieve a 10 lb object from a depth of 7-10 feet and exit the water without use of a ladder or steps within 1 minute & 40 seconds. Tread water for 2 minutes with hands tuck underneath armpits. Location: ARC Classroom & Pool
