Alana has been competing in weightlifting and 2017 will be her third consecutive year competing at National University/Under 25 Championships of Weightlifting. She also graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with a focus in Strength and Conditioning.
Alana has worked with a variety of sports teams such as soccer, volleyball, and weightlifting ranging from children under 8 years old up to college athletes. She has been a private personal trainer/ in-home trainer for two years and is now training at the ARC.
Alana played soccer for 13 years through high school. Searching for a new sport, she discovered the sport of Weightlifting and has been participating competitively for three years now with no plans of slowing down. Aside from Weightlifting, Alana enjoys circuit training and fast-paced workouts. She also has an interest in rowing, agility, and plyometrics/jumping. Outside of working out, Alana likes cooking and taking her dog to the park.
