Janina is interested in expanding her knowledge in the fitness industry. She recently received her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and plans on attending Graduate school to further her education.
Janina comes from an athletic background, playing sports such as soccer, swimming and gymnastics since the age of five. She continued her soccer career until high school where she fell in love with cross-country and track. With her personal dedication, she succeeded in taking herself to state in high school along with being a part of many state winning teams in college. She has continued to pursue her passion for running by becoming an assistant cross country and track over at a local high school. Currently she works with athletes of various sports and ages at Athletic Republic focusing on sports specific performance training.
Janina is very passionate about resistance training and spends time writing up and testing various training programs for herself and her friends to meet their goals. She enjoys finding creative ways to stay active with friends such as playing soccer or volleyball at the local park on the weekends. More recently she has learned how to rock climb. When she’s not working out or playing sports, Janina enjoys going to the beach and to the movies.
Janina believes the key to long term fitness and health is finding a balance in life. Her philosophy revolves around hard work and dedication as keys for following our passions in life. From personal experience she has learned that sometimes we are actually capable of far more than we often think, especially in terms of fitness. As a personal trainer she practices what she preaches, staying committed to not only reaching her own goals but to encouraging and educating her athletes and clients. Janina is dedicated to helping anyone interested in fitness as it is never too late to change your lifestyle.
