Alex has always strived for academic success; after graduating with high honors from high school he went on to become the first member in his family to graduate from a four-year institution making the Dean’s list 4 times.
Like many Kinesiology majors Alex has many years of experience in a variety of sports some of these sports include: Kickboxing, Baseball, Football, and Track and Field. Alex also has over a year’s experience in a variety of fitness modalities including Cardiac Rehab, Physical Therapy, and most recently athletic Strength and Conditioning at STARS, Anaheim.
In addition to Health, Fitness, and Sports Alex enjoys making himself as well-rounded an individual as possible. Striving to educate himself in anything he can including Business, Economics, History, Art, and Music, however, more than anything Alex loves to travel everywhere he can and wants to meet as many people as he can.
Alex’s personal philosophy is to leave everybody he meets a better version of themselves to help them achieve excellence. He believes he can do this by showing people a principle of Aristotle that he lives by every day.
“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.”
