Araceli was on the Deans list for her last two years in college.
o Araceli has been a group exercise instructor for 3 years and a personal trainer for over a year. She has been working with older adults for 3 years. Araceli had the great opportunity to work overseas in summer of 2014 for the United States Navy Base in Japan. She helped run a fitness and nutrition summer camp for kids.
Araceli loves nature and animals. She likes listening to the piano and enjoys dancing. Araceli likes to cook, read, hike, bike, and just being outdoors.
Her goal is to assist individuals develop a healthy lifestyle; to be fit and build confidence. She wants to educate them on the importance of fitness and all the great benefits it gives us. Helping individuals with fitness is rewarding for Araceli. Seeing them improve and hearing success stories is a great feeling for her. Araceli believes fitness is not only about being physically fit, but also having a healthy mind and body.
There is one quote she likes to live by: “What doesn’t challenge you, doesn’t change you”. Araceli believes this to be true because if we do not take risks, we will not get out of our comfort zone and change, in fitness and in life. This will allow individuals to grow and be open to new experiences.
