Lindsay’s most recent achievement was passing the Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics. As a sports dietitian, she assesses, educates, and counsels athletes and active individuals using evidence-based nutrition knowledge. Her goal is to continue implementing effective nutrition strategies that improve lifelong health, fitness, and optimal performance.

Lindsay has a great amount of experience counseling and providing educational support to patients, helping them understand what they need for the success of improving their well-being. She has worked for a cutting-edge laboratory company with a wide range of patients helping to prevent or improve illness such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and stroke. She has worked with Police and Fire Personnel on sports performance, weight management, disease prevention, supplements, and hydration, just to name a few. She strives to make each individual she meets more knowledgeable about his or her health.

In her free time, she does high intensity interval training to improve her own fitness level. She loves reading for pleasure as well as educational books. Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family and friends doing outdoor activities like camping, mountain biking, hiking or going to the beach. She also loves traveling up the northern coast, being creative in the kitchen and listening to country music.

She believes helping an individual understand the positives of proper nutrition and the way it affects their body will encourage them to make wise choices about what they eat and how they treat their bodies.
The difference between a goal and a dream is a deadline. -Steve Smith
