Youth Summer Camps

The UCI Anteater Recreation Summer Camps program, established in 2009, is made up of week-long, ½ day camps designed for children entering 3rd - 9th grade. The camps are specifically designed for teaching the participants to learn basic skills in the areas of the selected specialized camp. All level campers are welcome. Camps are available to UCI community and general public.

Baking Camp

Let your kids' inner chef shine with this hands-on baking class with UCI Cooking Staff. Baking Camp is the perfect place to start, offering a delicious blend of education, fun, and creativity. It doesn’t matter if you've never baked a cake before, or if you lack confidence where cookies are concerned. Baking camp provides a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can learn at your own pace, master the baking basics, and make new friends.

En Garde! Learn the Olympic sport of fencing with UCI Fencing Coach Ati Seif. As an introductory camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of fencing, including footwork, blade work, rules, strategy, fencing tactics, and timing. The camp will enhance agility, balance, build strength, and increase hand-eye coordination, all in an extremely safe and dynamic manner. We promise you will never have more fun with a sword! Intermediate Level Description: Intermediate Fencing Camp is for fencers who want to expand on the basic rules and fundamentals of the sport and take their fencing skills to the next level in a fun and safe environment. It will focus on strengthening technical material, proper footing and blade work, and physical conditioning through activities, drills and fencing bouts (sparring). Campers must have experience in fencing or have previously taken the ARC Fencing Camp to enroll in this camp.
