How to Register/ Registration HELP

Registration Policies:
Cancellation Policy
(5) or more business days before first day of camp week in order to receive 80% refund of registration fees
(3) business days before the first day of camp in order to receive 60% of registration fees.
*Exceptions to the cancellation policy will be made on a case by case basis and at the discretion of the Youth Program Director. Refunds take up to 5-10 business days to be processed.
Transfers requests will only be completed if there is space available in the desired camp session. Requests for transfers must be emailed to Youth Program Director ( 7 business days prior to the first day of camp to be considered.
Please note that the $5 processing fee is non refundable

Summer Sessions Descriptions: Specialty Cooking Camps | Traditional Virtual Camp

Do I have to register for Virtual Camp in advance?
Yes, advance registration for a Virtual Camp session is required. Registration will close at 11am the Thursday prior to the Virtual Camp start date.

Does my child need to have any materials ready at home for Virtual Camp?
Yes! Since Virtual Camp happens at home, your camper will need materials in order to participate. We ask that all camper have the following:
Pencil, pen
Markers/ crayons/ colored pencils
Paper/ lined or white
Good attitude & smile
Once your camp registration is complete, we’ll send you an email with a list of materials needed for that week of camp. We’ll provide links but we are not affiliated with any business or organization.

Do I need to have any special tech equipment at home for Virtual Camp?
Campers will need access to an iPhone/smartphone, iPad/tablet, or a computer with a camera on it to participate in Virtual Camp.

Do I need Zoom for Virtual Camp?
Yes! Downloading the Zoom app on a device that has audio and video capability will be necessary before Virtual Camp begins. Once your Virtual Camp reservation is confirmed, we’ll send an email with more Zoom instructions.

Do parents need to present during camp?
Guardians should be present and supervise the child(ren) during camp programming. Additional assistance and supervision may be required. Parents and guardians should stay within the home or general area of the child working.

How do I sign my child up for camp?
To register for camps, visit our secure CampDoc site, create a profile for your camper or choose their existing profile, and then select which camp session your would like to enroll in.
Please note: If you are registering multiple children, you will need to set up separate profiles for each child. If your child already has a profile in CampDoc, you will use that rather than creating a new one.

Who teaches the camps?
Our team of camp counselors range from UCI students to professional Campus Recreation staff. Your child will have an instructor that is eager to share their skills, passion and enthusiasm with the younger generation.

What if I need to cancel a camp registration?
We understand summer plans can change. Requesting a camp registration cancellation is done via CampDoc. We will process the requested cancelling and refund any money that may be owed to you as a result. Please notify us of any requested cancellations as early as possible. We often have waitlists for camps and would like to move people in as soon as spaces become available.
